His funeral will be this afternoon, at 3 o'clock, from his late dwelling-house, near the Navy Yard, which his relations and friends are requested to attend without further invitation.'" He was reported "at first a styled husbandman, and then in several documents, 1789 to 1810, a gentleman,"
