Elizabeth6 Fillebrown (Isaac5, Thomas4, Thomas3, Humpfrey2 Phillibrowne, Robert1 ffilebrowne)(1452) was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay circa 1735.(1453) Elizabeth died October 17, 1773 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at 38 years of age.(1454) Her body was interred circa October 1773 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1455) The grave is in the Phipps Street Burying Ground. "Near the Harvard obelisk in the old burial ground in Charlestown, and on the north side of the top of the hill, stands her well-preserved slate gravestone. Enclosed by borders ornamented in low relief is the inscription: 'Here lies ye Body of Mrs. Elizabeth Hunnewell wife to Mr. William Hunnewell, who died Octo. 17th 1773 in ye 38 Year of her Age.' A white marble slab, near by (erected by James Frothingham Hunnewell in 1856), is inscribed to her and to her husband, 'William Hunnewell died Oct. 9, 1782 AE. 47 1/2 years.'"

Elizabeth married William Hunnewell June 22, 1758 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1456) The service was performed by the Rev. Thomas Prentice. The marriage records of Charlestown show her name to be Mary: however, all other evidence indicates that she had a sister Mary that was married to another person.

William was born May 10, 1735 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.(1457) William(1458) was the son of Charles Hunnewell and Margaret Patten. William died October 9, 1782 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 47 years of age.(1459) His body was interred October 1782 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.(1460) The grave is located in the Phipps Street Burying Ground. The following statement was found in "Hunnewell" by James Frothingham Hunnewell. Nathan Appleton at First Church Cambridge May 11, 1735.(1461) William had marriage banns to Elizabeth Fillebrown published May 4, 1758 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1462) According to conflicting evidence, he married Elizabeth Fillebrown June 22, 1758 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1463) When William was age 24 and Elizabeth Fillebrown was age 23 they became the parents of William Hunnewell May 19, 1759 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1464) When William was age 34 and Elizabeth Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Elizabeth Hunnewell July 14, 1769.(1465) He was the administrator of Charles Hunnewell's estate after August 8, 1769 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.(1466) Charles Hunnewell died intestate. His sons Charles and William, husbandmen, and John Kidder were appointed administrators. Personal estate had already been divided among the heirs. He "succeeded to homestead and 'continues' this family."
