William⁸ Hunnewell (William⁷, Elizabeth⁶ Fillebrown, Isaac⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁵²¹⁸⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts September 28, 1782.⁽⁵²¹⁹⁾ William died May 7, 1850 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 67 years of age.⁽⁵²²⁰⁾ His body was interred May 1850 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²¹⁾ Burial was at the Cambridge Burying Ground beside the First Church at Harvard Square.

William married Nancy Anna Cushing April 6, 1809 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²²⁾ Nancy was born May 8, 1787 in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²³⁾ Nancy⁽⁵²²⁴⁾ was the daughter of Wareham Cushing and Lucy Harrington. Nancy died September 8, 1861 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 74 years of age.⁽⁵²²⁵⁾ Her body was interred September 1861 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²⁶⁾ Burial was at the Cambridge Burying Ground beside the First Church.

When Nancy was age 22 and William Hunnewell was age 27 they became the parents of Sarah Ann Hunnewell March 5, 1810 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²⁷⁾ When Nancy was age 26 and William Hunnewell was age 30 they became the parents of Caroline Eliza Hunnewell June 19, 1813 in North Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²⁸⁾ When Nancy was age 29 and William Hunnewell was age 33 they became the parents of Harriet Cushing Hunnewell June 17, 1816 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²²⁹⁾ When Nancy was age 33 and William Hunnewell was age 37 they became the parents of Susan Maria Hunnewell June 1, 1820 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³⁰⁾ Nancy resided in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³¹⁾ "They lived until their deaths on a pleasant estate of considerable size near the North Cambridge station, with fields, orchards, etc., now (1900) covered by recent streets and houses."

William, William Hunnewell's child, resided with William in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts before 1795.⁽⁵²³³⁾ William "lived in the homestead until 1794, when he sold it and other real estate inherited from his father, and moved into the town."

William resided circa 1800.⁽⁵²³⁴⁾ William was not reflected in the 1800 U.S. Population Census with his family therefore it is not certain where he resided at that time. As he was 17 it is probable that he already was apprenticed and away from home.

When William was age 27 and Nancy Anna Cushing was age 22 they became the parents of Sarah Ann Hunnewell March 5, 1810 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³⁵⁾ When William was age 30 and Nancy Anna Cushing was age 26 they became the parents of Caroline Eliza Hunnewell June 19, 1813 in North Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³⁶⁾ When William was age 33 and Nancy Anna Cushing was age 29 they became the parents of Harriet Cushing Hunnewell June 17, 1816 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³⁷⁾ When William was age 37 and Nancy Anna Cushing was age 33 they became the parents of Susan Maria Hunnewell June 1, 1820 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²³⁸⁾

William Hunnewell and Nancy Anna Cushing had the following children:

Sarah Ann⁹ Hunnewell⁽⁵²³⁹⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts March 5, 1810.⁽⁵²⁴⁰⁾ Sarah died April 17, 1883 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 73 years of age.⁽⁵²⁴¹⁾ She died in the home that had been her father's. Lewis resided in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁴⁴⁾ They lived for a while in Boston.

Lewis resided in California.⁽⁵²⁴⁵⁾ Apparently he lived separate from his wife for some time.

Lewis resided in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁴⁶⁾ The couple lived for many years in her father's house.

Sarah, as Lewis's wife, resided with him in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁴⁷⁾ They lived for a while in Boston.

828 iii. Harriet Cushing Hunnewell⁽⁵²⁴⁹⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts June 17, 1816.⁽⁵²⁵⁰⁾ Harriet died June 21, 1861 at 45 years of age.⁽⁵²⁵¹⁾ She died of consumption. Harriet married George G. Rice date unknown.⁽⁵²⁵²⁾

Susan Maria Hunnewell⁽⁵²⁵³⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts June 1, 1820.⁽⁵²⁵⁴⁾ Susan died March 16, 1891 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 70 years of age.⁽⁵²⁵⁵⁾ Susan married John B. Cook April 18, 1839 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁵⁶⁾ John was born January 14, 1816.⁽⁵²⁵⁷⁾ (Additional notes for John B. Cook⁽⁵²⁵⁸⁾) John died March 16, 1891 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 75 years of age.⁽⁵²⁵⁹⁾ John resided.⁽⁵²⁶⁰⁾ The home was in North Cambridge.
