464. George Edward⁸ Fillebrown (Abiel Holmes⁷, Thomas⁶, Isaac⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁵¹⁹⁶⁾ was born in Massachusetts January 5, 1843.⁽⁵¹⁹⁷⁾ George died January 18, 1906 at 63 years of age.⁽⁵¹⁹⁸⁾

George married Nancy D. Royal September 13, 1876 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵¹⁹⁹⁾ On October 12, 1876 the "Ellsworth American" newspaper of Elsworth, Maine published an account of the marriage reporting that the service was conducted by the Rev. Dr. Lorimer. Nancy⁽⁵²⁰⁰⁾ was the daughter of Samuel Royal and Lucy (________).

When Nancy was age unknown and George Edward Fillebrown was age unknown they became the parents of Carrie Parker Fillebrown before 1880.⁽⁵²⁰¹⁾ Nancy, as George's wife, resided with him in Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1880.⁽⁵²⁰²⁾ When Nancy was age unknown and George Edward Fillebrown was age unknown they became the parents of Adelaide Wyman Fillebrown after 1880.⁽⁵²⁰³⁾ Nancy applied for a military pension February 9, 1906 in Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁰⁴⁾ She filed as a widow for a Civil War Pension application number 843088 and certificate number 612243. Her husband's service was indicated to be in the "E 44 Mass Inf." He had died in February 1906.

George, Abiel Holmes Fillebrown's child lived with Abiel in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1844.⁽⁵²⁰⁵⁾ The residence was the "first house on the right on entering Quince street, going west." Abiel and Hannah along with the first six of their children moved there in April, 1828. At one time every child of Abiel and Hannah lived in this house. Abiel "lived in the the house ... nearly all his life, enlarging the original house." The house still stood in 1910.

George served in the military August 29. 1862 in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵²⁰⁶⁾ He was in Co. E, Reg. 44 of the Massachusetts Heavy Artillery.

He was released from active duty in the Massachusetts Heavy Artillery by honorable discharge June 18, 1863.⁽⁵²⁰⁷⁾ When George was age unknown and Nancy D. Royal was age unknown they became the parents of Carrie Parker Fillebrown before 1880.⁽⁵²⁰⁸⁾ George was employed at organization unknown as a farmer and retail milk dealer in Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1880.⁽⁵²⁰⁹⁾ George resided in Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1880.⁽⁵²¹⁰⁾ When George was age unknown and Nancy D. Royal was age unknown they became the parents of Adelaide Wyman Fillebrown after 1880.⁽⁵²¹¹⁾ George applied for a military pension circa 1891 in Massachusetts.⁽⁵²¹²⁾ He filed for a Civil War Pension application number 1007759 and certificate number 1112574. Service was indicated to be in the "E 44 Mass Inf.."

George resided in Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1896.⁽⁵²¹³⁾ The address was 82 Warren. His first cousin once removed, Julia Frances Fillebrown lived at 17 Warren.

George was employed as a milk dealer in Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1896.⁽⁵²¹⁴⁾

George Edward Fillebrown and Nancy D. Royal had the following children:
