Asa⁷ Fillebrown (John⁶, John⁵, John⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽³²⁴⁸⁾ was born in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts May 25, 1792.⁽³²⁴⁹⁾ Asa died April 10, 1866 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 73 years of age.⁽³²⁵⁰⁾ He died at his home at 8 Oliver Place, between Essex and Beech Streets.

Asa married Sarah Murphy October 4, 1814 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽³²⁵¹⁾ The Marriage was reported in the newspaper the Columbian Centinel October 12, 1814.

This is a bit of history.⁽³²⁶⁸⁾ "As a young man he developed a musical ability, becoming the leading clarinet player of those days. He was for many years leader of the famous Boston Brigade Band. He was a good organist, and the composer of a number of creditable hymn tunes. He played the organ at the old church, Roxbury (Dr. Putman's), walking out over Boston neck in the worst wintery weather."
