James⁷ Fillebrown (John⁶, John⁵, John⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽³²³²⁾ was born in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts November 3, 1790.⁽³²³³⁾ James died August 13, 1850 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 59 years of age.⁽³²³⁴⁾ His body was interred August 1850 in North Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.⁽³²³⁵⁾ The town later became Brockton.

James married Betsey Kingman September 2, 1813 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽³²³⁶⁾ The Marriage was reported in the newspaper the Columbian Centinel September 8, 1813.

Betsey was born August 29, 1786 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.⁽³²³⁷⁾ Betsey⁽³²³⁸⁾ was the daughter of John Kingman and Anna French. Betsey died January 14, 1871 in Clinton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at 84 years of age.⁽³²³⁹⁾ When Betsey was age 27 and James Fillebrown was age 23 they became the parents of James Fillebrown Jr. February 4, 1814.⁽³²⁴⁰⁾ When Betsey was age 28 and James Fillebrown was age 24 they became the parents of Elizabeth Fillebrown July 18, 1815.⁽³²⁴¹⁾ When Betsey was age 38 and James Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Frances Louisa Fillebrown January 7, 1825.⁽³²⁴²⁾

When James was age 23 and Betsey Kingman was age 27 they became the parents of James Fillebrown Jr. February 4, 1814.⁽³²⁴³⁾ When James was age 24 and Betsey Kingman was age 28 they became the parents of Elizabeth Fillebrown July 18, 1815.⁽³²⁴⁴⁾ When James was age 34 and Betsey Kingman was age 38 they became the parents of Frances Louisa Fillebrown January 7, 1825.⁽³²⁴⁵⁾ James was honored as a recruit in a society circa 1844 in Massachusetts.⁽³²⁴⁶⁾ He joined The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts. He was not a member of the militia. He was discharged from the Artillery Company, May 28, 1849.

James resided in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽³²⁴⁷⁾ He lived on Essex Street at the Corner of Lincoln Street the last years of his life.

James Fillebrown and Betsey Kingman had the following children:

+ 516 i. James⁸ Fillebrown Jr. was born February 4, 1814.

+ 517 ii. Elizabeth Fillebrown was born July 18, 1815.

+ 518 iii. Frances Louisa Fillebrown was born January 7, 1825.
