H. M. Fillebrown, 'Put on your singing robes and come into the country of rhymes, for you have touched the keynote of the child.' This encouragement received by the Philadelphia woman from one whose every word the world now treasures was her first recognition in the company of letters. The present volume is full of juvenile rhapsodies charmingly illustrated by Edwin Y. Prittie and in the bringing out of which the publishers, the John C. Winston Company, have done their full share. Most of the stanzas are full of human feelings and must appeal to a young audience. Mrs. Fillebrown lives at Paoli and married the son of Commodore T. Scott Fillebrown, U.S.N." The book was published by Winston & Company, 1908.
