Thomas⁶, John⁵, John⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁹⁴⁶²⁾ was born in Washington, District of Columbia July 8, 1868.⁽⁹⁴⁶³⁾ Thomas died August 20, 1936 in Washington, District of Columbia, at 68 years of age.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁴⁾ He died at home at 1437 Clifton St. His body was interred August 1936 in Beallsville, Montgomery County, Maryland.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁵⁾ Burial was at Monocacy Cemetery.

Thomas married Julia Maria Smoot March 5, 1898 in Alexandria, Virginia.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁶⁾ Julia was born January 11, 1875 in Poolesville, Montgomery County, Maryland.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁷⁾ The birth took place on a farm called Annington at White's Ferry. The original owner of Annington was Daniel Dulaney. Dan Dulaney Jr. was releived of it during the 1800's due to family loyalty to England. Julia⁽⁹⁴⁶⁸⁾ was the daughter of Robert Wood Smoot and Margaret Ann White.

Julia died June 21, 1940 in Falls Church, Virginia, at 65 years of age.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁹⁾ Julia died her son Robert's home at 1922 N. Underwood.

Her body was interred June 1940 in Beallsville, Montgomery County, Maryland.⁽⁹⁴⁷⁰⁾ Burial was at Monocacy Cemetery Ploy: Row F, Lot 11, Site 11.

It is an interesting historical note that prior to Robert's birth the property his parents rented was a girl's finishing school and later in 1917 became Briarley Hall Military Academy. In 1995 only the concrete gateposts to the property remain.
