657. Achsah Crocker⁹ Fillebrown (Rudolphus Howard⁸, James⁷, James⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁷⁴⁰³⁾ was born in Mt. Vernon, Kennebec County, Maine December 20, 1831.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁴⁾ Achsah died December 17, 1907 at 75 years of age.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁵⁾

Achsah married Franklin Jesse Austin September 1855.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁶⁾ Franklin was born November 15, 1826 in Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁷⁾ Franklin⁽⁷⁴⁰⁸⁾ was the son of David Austin and Elizabeth Clark. Franklin died August 14, 1882 in Farmington, Franklin County, Maine, at 55 years of age.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁹⁾ His body was interred August 1882 in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴¹⁰⁾ Burial was at Woodside Cemetery.

When Franklin was age 29 and Achsah Crocker Fillebrown was age 24 they became the parents of Mabel Estelle Austin November 14, 1856 in Rome, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴¹¹⁾ Franklin was employed at a spool making business as a worker in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts date unknown.⁽⁷⁴¹²⁾ Franklin was employed at a stove factory as a worker in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1860.⁽⁷⁴¹³⁾ He was also employed in a spool manufacturing concern in Belgrade.

Franklin resided in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1860.⁽⁷⁴¹⁴⁾ When Franklin was age 38 and Achsah Crocker Fillebrown was age 33 they became the parents of Frank Austin January 18, 1865 in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴¹⁵⁾ Franklin was employed at a spool making business as a worker in Farmington Falls, Franklin County, Maine date unknown.⁽⁷⁴¹⁶⁾ When Franklin was age 39 and Achsah Crocker Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Harry Bursley Austin April 30, 1866 in Farmington Falls, Franklin County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴¹⁷⁾ Franklin resided in Weld, Franklin County, Maine circa 1870.⁽⁷⁴¹⁸⁾ Franklin was a member of Masons in Weld, Franklin County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴¹⁹⁾ He was one of the founders and the first Master of Mystic Tie Lodge, F&A. M.

Franklin was employed at his own coal business as owner and operator in Weld, Franklin County, Maine date unknown.⁽⁷⁴²⁰⁾ "While a young man he engaged in spool manufacturing in Belgrade, ME., afterwards in Fall River, MA, and Farmington, ME, finally locating in Weld, ME, where he did a large and successful business up to the time of his death."

"He worked as a boy in the tool shop with his father, but early in life learned the machinist's trade in the railroad shops at Lewiston, Me. He was for a time a railroad engineer and master mechanic on a sugar plantation in Louisiana. While a young man he engaged in spool manufacturing in Belgrade, Me., afterwards in Fall River, Mass., and Farmington Falls, Me., finally locating in Weld, Me., where he did a large and successful business up to the time of his death. He never sought public office, but was a man of much influence in the community and of excellent judgement, having the universal respect of all who knew him. He was one of the founders and the first Master of Mystic Tie Lodge, F. & A. M., of Weld, Me., and a charter member of Franklin chapter, R. A. M., of Farmington, Me."

When Achsah was age 24 and Franklin Jesse Austin was age 29 they became the parents of Mabel Estelle Austin November 14, 1856 in Rome, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴²¹⁾ Achsah, as Franklin's wife, resided with him in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1860.⁽⁷⁴²²⁾ When Achsah was age 33 and Franklin Jesse Austin was age 38 they became the parents of Frank Austin January 18, 1865 in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴²³⁾ When Achsah was age 34 and Franklin Jesse Austin was age 39 they became the parents of Harry Bursley Austin April 30, 1866 in Farmington Falls, Franklin County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴²⁴⁾ Achsah, as Franklin's wife, resided with him in Weld, Franklin County, Maine circa 1870.⁽⁷⁴²⁵⁾ Achsah was employed at Austin & Company as a partner in Weld, Franklin County, Maine after 1882.⁽⁷⁴²⁶⁾ She became a partner in the spool business founded by her husband after his death.

Achsah retired from organization unknown in Weld, Franklin County, Maine circa 1890.⁽⁷⁴²⁷⁾ She withdrew as a Partner in the spool business leaving her son, Harry, and daughter, Mabel, as Partners.

Achsah Crocker Fillebrown and Franklin Jesse Austin had the following children:

1087 i. Mabel Estelle¹⁰ Austin⁽⁷⁴²⁸⁾ was born in Rome, Kennebec County, Maine November 14, 1856.⁽⁷⁴²⁹⁾ Mabel died April 1, 1930 in Phillips, Franklin County, Maine, at 73 years of age.⁽⁷⁴³⁰⁾ She was single in 1856.

Mabel, Franklin Jesse Austin's child, resided with Franklin in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1860.⁽⁷⁴³¹⁾ Mabel, Franklin Jesse Austin's child, resided with Franklin in Weld, Franklin County, Maine circa 1870.⁽⁷⁴³²⁾ Mabel was employed at Austin & Company as a partner in Weld, Franklin County, Maine circa 1890.⁽⁷⁴³³⁾ It was a spool manufacturing business.

Mabel was employed at Austin & Company as a partner in Phillips, Franklin County, Maine circa 1896.⁽⁷⁴³⁴⁾ The spool business was moved to Phillips where it continued to be in business in 1910.

1088 ii. Frank Austin⁽⁷⁴³⁵⁾ was born in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine January 18, 1865.⁽⁷⁴³⁶⁾ Frank died August 1865 in Maine, at less than one year of age.⁽⁷⁴³⁷⁾ His body was interred August 1865 in Belgrade, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁴³⁸⁾
