Mary Jane⁹ Fillebrown (James⁸, James⁷, James⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁷⁰²⁵⁾ was born in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine) July 18, 1813.⁽⁷⁰²⁶⁾ Mary died June 1863 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 49 years of age.⁽⁷⁰²⁷⁾

Mary married Thomas Miller Howard September 2, 1834 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁰²⁸⁾ The Marriage was reported in the newspaper the Columbian Centinel September 10, 1834.

Thomas was born May 9, 1805 in Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽⁷⁰²⁹⁾ Thomas⁽⁷⁰³⁰⁾ was the son of Asa Howard and Susanna Randall. Thomas died February 15, 1875 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 69 years of age.⁽⁷⁰³¹⁾ Thomas resided in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts circa 1834.⁽⁷⁰³²⁾ When Thomas was age 30 and Mary Jane Fillebrown was age 22 they became the parents of James Miller Howard October 18, 1835 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁷⁰³³⁾ When Thomas was age 39 and Mary Jane Fillebrown was age 31 they became the parents of George Franklin Howard September 4, 1844 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁰³⁴⁾ He was born in his grandfather's house.

Thomas moved with his family from a home in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine to Boston, MA circa 1845.⁽⁷⁰³⁵⁾

When Mary was age 22 and Thomas Miller Howard was age 30 they became the parents of James Miller Howard October 18, 1835 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁷⁰³⁶⁾ When Mary was age 31 and Thomas Miller Howard was age 39 they became the parents of George Franklin Howard September 4, 1844 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁷⁰³⁷⁾ He was born in his grandfather's house.
