545. Maria Ann⁸ Fillebrown (William Cheever⁷, Hon. Thomas⁶, John⁵, John⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁶³⁹⁴⁾ was born in Orono, Penobscot County, Maine July 2, 1836.⁽⁶³⁹⁵⁾ The entry in the Minutes of the Town of Orono indicate her name to be Maria Jane Fillebrown. Maria died January 29, 1926 in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California, at 89 years of age.

Maria married Seneca M. Gallup April 17, 1866 in Knights Landing, Yolo County, California.⁽⁶³⁹⁶⁾ Seneca was born circa 1824 in New York.⁽⁶³⁹⁷⁾ Seneca⁽⁶³⁹⁸⁾ was the son of Nathan Gallup and Anna Elizabeth Weidman. Seneca died March 5, 1894 at 69 years of age.⁽⁶³⁹⁹⁾ When Seneca was age unknown and Elizabeth Schaeffer was age unknown they became the parents of Anna Lizzie Gallup circa 1857.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁰⁾ When Seneca was age 44 and Maria Ann Fillebrown was age 32 they became the parents of William Seneca Gallup September 4, 1868 in Stanislaus County, California.⁽⁶⁴⁰¹⁾ When Seneca was age 50 and Maria Ann Fillebrown was age 38 they became the parents of Louise Maria Gallup August 7, 1874 in California.⁽⁶⁴⁰²⁾

Maria Ann Fillebrown emigrated from New England to a place in Wisconsin about May 1841.⁽⁶⁴⁰³⁾ THE HISTORY OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA by J. B. Hill states W. C. Fillebrown "Leaving New England ... removed westward becoming one of the pioneer residents of that state...". The GENEALOGY OF THE FILLEBROWN FAMILY states "In May, 1841 he (Cheever) with his wife and five children drove across the country with horses and wagon from Orono, Maine, to Buffalo, N.Y., thence up Lake Erie to Detroit, Mich., and on to Galena, Ill., and stayed there with friends while looking about for a place to settle. That fall he moved upon a farm at Plattesville, Wis., and later into the village."

Maria was listed as a household member of William Cheever Fillebrown's household on the 1850 Census in Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁴⁾ The family consisted of Cheever, his wife Ann, the first 8 of their children, future son-in-law Timothy Machin, S. Richards a school teacher, and L. Fitts a school teacher.

Maria was a witness at Timothy N. Machin and Emily Heywood Fillebrown's wedding January 19, 1851 in Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁵⁾ When Maria was age 32 and Seneca M. Gallup was age 44 they became the parents of William Seneca Gallup September 4, 1868 in Stanislaus County, California.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁶⁾ When Maria was age 38 and Seneca M. Gallup was age 50 they became the parents of Louise Maria Gallup August 7, 1874 in California.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁷⁾ Maria resided in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California circa 1910.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁸⁾ The address was 420 W. Poplar Street

Maria Ann Fillebrown and Seneca M. Gallup had the following children:

983 i. William Seneca⁹ Gallup⁽⁶⁴⁰⁹⁾ was born in Stanislaus County, California September 4, 1868.⁽⁶⁴¹⁰⁾ William died August 4, 1940 at 71 years of age.
