451. Leonard⁸ Fillebrown Jr. (Leonard⁷, Thomas⁶, Isaac⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁴⁹¹⁶⁾ was born in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts December 16, 1825.⁽⁴⁹¹⁷⁾ Leonard died February 20, 1893 at 67 years of age.⁽⁴⁹¹⁸⁾

Leonard married Jennette N. Hambler November 26, 1852.⁽⁴⁹¹⁹⁾ Jennette was born May 22, 1827.⁽⁴⁹²⁰⁾ (Additional notes for Jennette N. Hambler⁽⁴⁹²¹⁾) When Jennette was age 23 and Leonard Fillebrown Jr. was age 25 they became the parents of Nelson O. Fillebrown February 10, 1851 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²²⁾ Nelson's birthplace and those of his parents was reported as being Connecticut on the 1900 US Population Census.

Jennette, as Leonard Fillebrown Jr.'s spouse, resided with him in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts circa 1854.⁽⁴⁹²³⁾ Jennette, as Leonard's wife, resided with him in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²⁴⁾ Jennette, as Leonard's wife, resided with him in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁽⁴⁹²⁵⁾ When Jennette was age 29 and Leonard Fillebrown Jr. was age 31 they became the parents of Ella May Fillebrown February 2, 1857 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²⁶⁾ Jennette, as Leonard's wife, resided with him in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²⁷⁾ Jennette, as Leonard's wife, resided with him in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²⁸⁾ Jennette, as Leonard's wife, resided with him in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹²⁹⁾

Conflicting evidence states that Leonard was born December 16, 1825 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³⁰⁾ Leonard was probably a free white male, age under 5, in Leonard Fillebrown's household, on the 1830 Census in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³¹⁾ A male in the age range 20 to 30 also lived in the home at this time. Perhaps either a brother of Leonard or Hannah.

Leonard was probably a free white male, age 10 and under 15, in Leonard Fillebrown's household, on the 1840 Census in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³²⁾ The census indicated that 9 people lived in the household. If Leonard and Hannah as well as their 5 children and their son-in-law Samuel are included it accounts for 8 people. Two of the males are in the wrong age group but that kind of error is not unusual. The 9th person has not been identified.

When Leonard was age 25 and Jennette N. Hambler was age 23 they became the parents of Nelson O. Fillebrown February 10, 1851 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³³⁾ Nelson's birthplace and those of his parents was reported as being Connecticut on the 1900 US Population Census.

Leonard resided in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts circa 1854.⁽⁴⁹³⁴⁾ Leonard resided in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³⁵⁾ Leonard resided in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁽⁴⁹³⁶⁾ When Leonard was age 31 and Jennette N. Hambler was age 29 they became the parents of Ella May Fillebrown February 2, 1857 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³⁷⁾ Leonard was employed at the New Haven Cracker Co. as owner in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut after 1857.⁽⁴⁹³⁸⁾ Leonard founded the business which operated at the corner of State ands Whitting for many years.

Leonard resided in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹³⁹⁾ Leonard resided in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹⁴⁰⁾ Leonard resided in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁹⁴¹⁾

Leonard Fillebrown Jr. and Jennette N. Hambler had the following children:
