Sarah died May 1, 1875 in Winthrop Village, Kennebec County, Maine, at 52 years of age.(5829) She died of inflammatory rheumatism of long standing. Her body was interred circa May 1875 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5830) She was buried beside her brother John.

Sarah married Willard Childs Hopkins March 12, 1851 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5831) Willard was born November 5, 1824 in Eastport, Washington County, Maine.(5832) Willard was the son of William Hopkins and Mary Long. Willard died January 2, 1912 at 87 years of age.(5833) Willard, William Hopkins's child, resided with William in Hallowell, Kennebec County, Maine.(5834) Willard was employed at H. Parlin and Co. as occupation unknown in Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine date unknown. Willard resided in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1851.(5835) The family lived there until 1865.

When Willard was age 30 and Sarah Marshall Fillebrown was age 32 they became the parents of John Arthur Hopkins March 20, 1855 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5836) When Willard was age 32 and Sarah Marshall Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Alice Fillebrown Hopkins June 14, 1857 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5837) Willard served in the military circa November 1862.(5838) "He enlisted in the fall of 1862 in the 24th Regt. of Me. Inf. and was in service until discharged for disability."

Willard resided in Winthrop Village, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1865.(5839) This was Willard and Sarah's home until death.

Sarah became a foster child September 19, 1825 in Winthrop, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.(5840) At the death of her mother Sarah Marshall Fillebrown was taken by Miss Ruth Bancroft of Boston to the home of her grand-uncle Col. Thomas Fillebrown and was brought up in his family as an own child.

Sarah, as Willard's wife, resided with him in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1851.(5841) The family lived there until 1865.

When Sarah was age 32 and Willard Childs Hopkins was age 30 they became the parents of John Arthur Hopkins March 20, 1855 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5842) When Sarah was age 34 and Willard Childs Hopkins was age 32 they became the parents of Alice Fillebrown Hopkins June 14, 1857 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5843) Sarah witnessed John Fillebrown's death October 2, 1860 in East Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.(5844) He died of consumption at the home of his sister, Sarah.

Sarah, as Willard's wife, resided with him in Winthrop Village, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1865.(5845) This was Willard and Sarah's home until death.
