Calvin died February 23, 1822 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at 62 years of age.⁽²³²²⁾ He died of consumption. His body was interred circa 1822 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³²³⁾ Burial was at Broadway Cemetery.

Calvin married Cate Hack August 3, 1786.⁽²³²⁴⁾ Cate was born circa 1763.⁽²³²⁵⁾ Cate⁽²³²⁶⁾ was the daughter of Nathan Hack and Kate Lincoln. When Cate was age 24 and Calvin Fillebrown was age 27 they became the parents of Cate Fillebrown August 9, 1787 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³²⁷⁾ At some time this birth was "registered" in Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.

When Cate was age 26 and Calvin Fillebrown was age 30 they became the parents of Belinda Fillebrown May 17, 1790 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³²⁸⁾ She was listed as Melenda in the birth record.

When Cate was age 29 and Calvin Fillebrown was age 33 they became the parents of Moly Fillebrown November 20. 1792 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³²⁹⁾ When Cate was age unknown and Calvin Fillebrown was age unknown they became the parents of John Fillebrown Brown circa 1801.⁽²³³⁰⁾ When Cate was age unknown and Calvin Fillebrown was age unknown they became the parents of Susan Fillebrown circa 1804 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³³¹⁾ She was listed as the widow of Calvin Fillebrown in the pension record June 12, 1818 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³³²⁾ ".... his pension was allowed for nine months' actual service as a private in the Massachusetts troops, Revolutionary War, a part of the time he served under Col. Nixon. He enlisted at Mansfield. His widow made application, and received a pension for the service of her husband, as above set forth."

Cate, as Calvin's wife, resided with him in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts circa 1820.⁽²³³³⁾ This is a bit of history.⁽²³³⁴⁾ She was shown as an applicant for a widow's pension for the Revolutionary War. Her ancestors and siblings are described in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register 1894 Volume XLVIII page 453.

Josiah Whitney's regt.; enlisted May 23, 1776; service to Dec. 1, 1776, 6 months 10 days, including travel home; company raised for defence of town and harbor of Boston; ...

Calvin served in the military July 24, 1777 in Rhode Island.⁽²³³⁷⁾ "... also Capt. Abiel Clap's Company; Col. Carpenters's (Bristol Co.) regiment; service 1 month, 4 days; company marched to Rhode Island, July 24, 1777; ..."

Calvin served in the military January 12, 1778 in Rhode Island.⁽²³³⁸⁾ His name is shown as Calvin Filebrown ".... Private Capt. Isreal Trow's Co. Col. John Daggett's regiment; entered service Jan. 12, 1778; discharged Mar. 31, 1778; service 2 months, 20 days. Company drafted to serve under Major Gen. Spencer at Rhode Island for three months from Jan. 1, 1778."

Calvin served in the military June 21, 1778 in Rhode Island.⁽²³³⁹⁾ "Private Captain Samuel Robinson's Company; enlisted June 21, 1778, service 22 days at Rhode Island; company raised to serve in Vol. Wade's regiment for 21 days from July (June) 21, 1778."

Calvin served in the military August 25, 1778 in Rhode Island.⁽²³⁴⁰⁾ "Also Captain Josiah Keith's Company, Col. John Daggett's regiment; enlisted Aug. 25, 1778; discharged Sept. 3, 1778; service 9 days at Rhode Island; ..."

Calvin served in the military August 20. 1779 in Springfield, unknown County, unknown state.⁽²³⁴¹⁾ "...also Major Harwood's Co. 6th Mass. regiment; entered service Aug. 20, 1779; discharged May 20, 1780; terms 9 months, ..."

Calvin served in the military August 22, 1779 in Springfield, unknown County, unknown state.⁽²³⁴²⁾ "... also company receipt for equipments, given to Capt. James Tisdale, dated Springfield Aug. 22, 1779; ..."

Calvin served in the military October 29, 1779 in Springfield, unknown County, unknown state.⁽²³⁴³⁾ "... also, descriptive list dated October 29, 1779 of men mustered by James Leonard, Muster Master for Bristo Co. to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 9 months from the time of their arrival at Springfield; 3d co., Col. Dean's regt.; age 22 yrs; stature 5 ft. 5 in., complexion, light; hair, brown; eyes, blue; engaged for town of Mansfield."

Calvin served in the military November 1779.⁽²³⁴⁴⁾ "... also Major Peter Harwood's company, Col. Nixon's 6th regiment; pay rolls for November and December 1779; also same company and regiment, payroll for January-June 1780; service 4 months, 20 days; reported discharged May 20, 1780; also order for wages for service in Continental Army 'last year' payable to Capt. Samuel White, dated Mansfield, Sept. 5, 1780."

He was released from active duty in the Continental Army by honorable discharge May 20, 1780 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³⁴⁵⁾ He was "reported Discharged May 20, 1780" and was on an "order for wages for service in Continental Army 'last year', payable to Capt. Samuel White, dated Mansfield, Sept. 5, 1780."

Calvin Fillebrown purchased land from James Fillebrown March 18, 1789 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁽²³⁴⁷⁾ The 1910 Genealogy states he "divides his estate between his sons Calvin and Alexander ... Vol. 79, p. 551."
