He married twice. Edward married Susannah Peirce February 16, 1744 in Medford, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁽⁷⁷⁸⁾ Listed in Marriage Records as "Phillebrown" (Additional notes for Susannah Peirce⁽⁷⁷⁹⁾)

Susannah died June 23, 1772 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at 58 years of age.⁽⁷⁸⁰⁾ When Susannah was age 30 and Edward Fillebrown was age 32 they became the parents of Edward Fillebrown August 30, 1744 in Medford, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁽⁷⁸¹⁾ The date was reported as being June 8 1744 in the 1910 Fillebrown Genealogy. Cutter circa 1755 near Cambridge, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁷⁹⁹⁾ The 1910 Genealogy states "... three acres and twelve rods of land bounded northwest by land of his father, John Fillebrown (now G. Cutters's), northeast by road to Woburn, east by land of W. Butterfield and W. Robbins, southwest by road from Cambridge to Concord; wife Suzanna, joins 1758." According to Wyman's the land was bounded by the following lands: to the NW land once owned by John Fillebrown but at the time by G. Cutter, to the NE by the road to Woburn, to the E by W. Butterfield and W. Robbins, and to the SW by the road to Concord from Cambridge.

When Edward was age 45 and Susannah Peirce was age 43 they became the parents of Ruth Fillebrown October 25, 1757 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁽⁸⁰⁰⁾ Edward reported for active duty circa 1758.⁽⁸⁰¹⁾ He returned from service November 12, 1758 Cutter states ... Edward was a private in Capt. Thomas Adams' company, of Col. Ebenezer Nochols' regiment, which returned ... from the French War for the reduction of Canada, with the loss of one man. This was the French and Indian War.

When Edward was age unknown and Susannah Peirce was age unknown they became the parents of Abigail Fillebrown circa 1763 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁽⁸⁰²⁾ Edward was selected to collect the tax type unknown in circa 1778.⁽⁸⁰³⁾ The 1910 Geneology states "Edward was one of five men from the third ward 'for to take a true invoice' for collection of the War Tax, 1778." The 1910 Genealogy states "In the seating of the meeting-house in 1781, according to the Precinct book, 'Edward Fillebrown was one of the five assigned to the fore seat upon the floor below.' His name is also found on the tax list for Menotomy, A.D. 1781, 'to procure beef for the Continental Army.'"

Susannah Fillebrown⁽⁸⁰⁶⁾ was born in Medford, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay May 31, 1747.⁽⁸⁰⁷⁾ Susannah married James Blake November 29, 1773 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁽⁸⁰⁸⁾ The marriage was in the Second Precinct Church in Cambridge. Ruth Fillebrown⁽⁸²²⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay October 25, 1757.⁽⁸²³⁾ Ruth died March 11, 1782 in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, at 24 years of age.⁽⁸²⁴⁾ Ruth married John Kidder December 12, 1780 in Weston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁸²⁵⁾ The 1910 Geneology states the "..Rev. Jacob Cushing of Waltham..." performed the wedding. John⁽⁸²⁶⁾ was the son of John Kidder.
