Scott, Thomas Scott Fillebrown's child, resided with Thomas in Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey circa 1926. Scott graduated from Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts circa 1944. Scott served in the military circa 1945. He served in the Navy in WWII.

Scott graduated from Princeton University in Princeton, Mercer County, New Jersey circa 1950. He received an AB degree in politics, magna cum laude.

When Scott was age 24 and Lavinia Jones was age 25 they became the parents of Margaret McDaniel Fillebrown August 10, 1951 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Scott served in the military date unknown in Korea. He was in the US Navy.

When Scott was age 26 and Lavinia Jones was age 26 they became the parents of Beatrice Hartshorne Fillebrown April 5, 1953 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. When Scott was age 29 and Lavinia Jones was age 30 they became the parents of Ellen Fillebrown June 27, 1956 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. When Scott was age 33 and Lavinia Jones was age 33 they became the parents of Lavinia Fillebrown May 5, 1960 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Scott resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee circa 1967. The address was 5 Lynnwood Lane and they lived there until 2004.

Scott resided in Longboat Key, Manatee County, Florida circa 1973. The address of this winter home was 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Scott retired from First American National Bank in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee circa 1977. He was president at the time.

Scott was employed at McCarthy, Jones, and Woodward as owner and operator circa 1977. He was president of the firm until 1987.

Scott was elected Mayor, November 1986 in Belle Meade, Davidson County, Tennessee. He was elected as one of three commissioners who then elect one of themselves to be Mayor.

This is a bit of history. Over the years Thomas was very active in business and civic activities: "he served a term in the Metro City Council, and was Chairman of the Nashville Housing Authority under Mayor Beverly Briley. He served as President of First American National Bank, was past Director of the American Bankers Association and the Tennessee Bankers Association, and a member of the Association of Reserve City Bankers. He was a past President of the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, a founding member and past President of Nashville Public Television, past President of the Canby Robinson Society, and founder of Knot-Hole baseball. After retirement from banking, Scott owned and operated a steel fabricating company. He served for 16 years as Commissioner, Vice-Mayor, and Mayor of the City of Belle Meade. He was a former member of the Belle Meade Country Club and a past member of the Rotary Club of Nashville".

Circa 1999, Scott, an Episcopalian, was a member of the St. George's Episcopal Church in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. "Scott was a member and past junior and senior warden of St. George's Episcopal Church, a former lay Eucharistic Minister, and he also served as Treasurer of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee for many years. He was awarded the Bishop's Cross in 1999."

Scott enjoyed the hobby of tennis circa 2000. Scott served at WDCN Television as member Board of Directors in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee circa 2000. In April 2000 Scott was listed as a member of the Board of Directors of WDCN, Channel 8, Nashville's independent nonprofit PBS station.

Scott's memorial service was held December 31, 2012 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. "Visitation with the family will be held at St. George's Episcopal Church on Sunday, December 30 from 3-5 p.m., and a memorial service will be held at St. George's Church on Monday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to St. George's Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Road, December 31, 2012 Nashville, TN 37205, or The Harpeth Hall School, 3801 Hobbs Road, Nashville, TN 37215."
