Rockport, Cuyahoga County, Ohio March 24, 1886.^(13196) He was named for his uncle Louis Carmel Stearns. Louis died October 18, 1918 in Fromerville, Lorraine, France, at 32 years of age.^(13197) He died in a military mobile hospital after being wounded in the stomach on October 14, 1918 in the battle of The Argonne.

Louis married Marian Frost September 13, 1913 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.^(13198) Marian was born June 11, 1886 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.^(13199) Marian^(13200) was the daughter of Albinus Finney Frost and Emma Jane Richardson. Marian died June 27, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, at 92 years of age.^(13201) When Marian was age 28 and Louis Carmel Brown was age 28 they became the parents of Albert Emery Brown July 9, 1914 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio.^(13202) When Marian was age 29 and Louis Carmel Brown was age 30 they became the parents of Marjory Brown May 21, 1916 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^(13203) When Marian was age 31 and Louis Carmel Brown was age 31 they became the parents of Elizabeth Brown November 29, 1917 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^(13204)

When Louis was age 28 and Marian Frost was age 28 they became the parents of Albert Emery Brown July 9, 1914 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio.^(13205) When Louis was age 30 and Marian Frost was age 29 they became the parents of Marjory Brown May 21, 1916 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^(13206) When Louis was age 31 and Marian Frost was age 31 they became the parents of Elizabeth Brown November 29, 1917 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^(13207) Louis Kazimieras Harper was named after Louis Carmel Brown September 20, 1995 in Winchester, either Franklin or Johnson County, Tennessee.^(13208) Louis Carmel Brown was his great-grandfather.
