Mary married William Augustus Hammond September 1855.⁽⁵¹¹³⁾ William was born date unknown in Eliot, York County, Maine.⁽⁵¹¹⁴⁾ (Additional notes for William Augustus Hammond⁽⁵¹¹⁵⁾) When William was age unknown and Mary Catherine Fillebrown was age 27 they became the parents of Edith May Hammond May 1, 1858.⁽⁵¹¹⁶⁾ When William was age unknown and Mary Catherine Fillebrown was age 29 they became the parents of Charles Hammond June 21, 1860.⁽⁵¹¹⁷⁾ When William was age unknown and Mary Catherine Fillebrown was age 31 they became the parents of Hannah Louisa Hammond September 4, 1862.⁽⁵¹¹⁸⁾ When William was age unknown and Mary Catherine Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Everett Fillebrown Hammond December 11, 1864.⁽⁵¹¹⁹⁾ When William was age unknown and Mary Catherine Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of Elvira Frances Hammond December 11, 1864.⁽⁵¹²⁰⁾

Mary, Abiel Holmes Fillebrown's child, resided with Abiel in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1844.⁽⁵¹²¹⁾ The residence was the "first house on the right on entering Quince street, going west." Abiel and Hannah along with the first six of their children moved there in April, 1828. At one time every child of Abiel and Hannah lived in this house. Abiel "lived in the the house ... nearly all his life, enlarging the original house." The house still stood in 1910.

When Mary was age 27 and William Augustus Hammond was age unknown they became the parents of Edith May Hammond May 1, 1858.⁽⁵¹²²⁾ When Mary was age 29 and William Augustus Hammond was age unknown they became the parents of Charles Hammond June 21, 1860.⁽⁵¹²³⁾ When Mary was age 31 and William Augustus Hammond was age unknown they became the parents of Hannah Louisa Hammond September 4, 1862.⁽⁵¹²⁴⁾ When Mary was age 34 and William Augustus Hammond was age unknown they became the parents of Everett Fillebrown Hammond December 11, 1864.⁽⁵¹²⁵⁾ When Mary was age 34 and William Augustus Hammond was age unknown they became the parents of Elvira Frances Hammond December 11, 1864.⁽⁵¹²⁶⁾

Mary Catherine Fillebrown and William Augustus Hammond had the following children:
