456. Samuel Locke⁸ Fillebrown (Abiel Holmes⁷, Thomas⁶, Isaac⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁵⁰⁶⁹⁾ was born in Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts August 31, 1823.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁰⁾ Samuel died January 12, 1908 at 84 years of age.⁽⁵⁰⁷¹⁾

Samuel married Lucy Elizabeth Johnson November 21, 1860.⁽⁵⁰⁷²⁾ Lucy was born November 21, 1837 in Biddeford, York County, Maine.⁽⁵⁰⁷³⁾ Lucy⁽⁵⁰⁷⁴⁾ was the daughter of Joseph Gray Johnson and Sarah E. Falker. Lucy died February 12, 1936 at 98 years of age.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁵⁾ Lucy, Joseph Gray Johnson's child, resided with Joseph in Biddeford, York County, Maine before 1860.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁶⁾ When Lucy was age 24 and Samuel Locke Fillebrown was age 38 they became the parents of Sarah Frances Fillebrown June 17, 1862.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁷⁾ When Lucy was age 25 and Samuel Locke Fillebrown was age 40 they became the parents of Howard Dana Fillebrown November 16, 1863 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁸⁾ When Lucy was age 29 and Samuel Locke Fillebrown was age 43 they became the parents of Parker Locke Fillebrown November 26, 1866.⁽⁵⁰⁷⁹⁾ When Lucy was age 31 and Samuel Locke Fillebrown was age 45 they became the parents of Herbert Holmes Fillebrown August 11, 1869.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁰⁾ When Lucy was age 38 and Samuel Locke Fillebrown was age 52 they became the parents of May Foster Fillebrown February 11, 1876.⁽⁵⁰⁸¹⁾

Samuel, Abiel Holmes Fillebrown's child, resided with Abiel in West Cambridge (now Arlington), Middlesex County, Massachusetts before April 1828.⁽⁵⁰⁸²⁾ The residence was on Pleasant Street. By 1910 the town was called Belmont.

Samuel, Abiel Holmes Fillebrown's child, resided with Abiel in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts circa 1844.⁽⁵⁰⁸³⁾ The residence was the "first house on the right on entering Quince street, going west." Abiel and Hannah along with the first six of their children moved there in April, 1828. At one time every child of Abiel and Hannah lived in this house. Abiel "lived in the the house ... nearly all his life, enlarging the original house." The house still stood in 1910.

Samuel was employed at his own business as a Provisioner in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁴⁾ He was in business for 47 years.

When Samuel was age 38 and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson was age 24 they became the parents of Sarah Frances Fillebrown June 17, 1862.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁵⁾ When Samuel was age 40 and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson was age 25 they became the parents of Howard Dana Fillebrown November 16, 1863 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁶⁾ When Samuel was age 43 and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson was age 29 they became the parents of Parker Locke Fillebrown November 26, 1866.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁷⁾ When Samuel was age 45 and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson was age 31 they became the parents of Herbert Holmes Fillebrown August 11, 1869.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁸⁾ When Samuel was age 52 and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson was age 38 they became the parents of May Foster Fillebrown February 11, 1876.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁹⁾

Samuel Locke Fillebrown and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson had the following children:

805 i. Sarah Frances⁹ Fillebrown⁽⁵⁰⁹⁰⁾ was born June 17, 1862.⁽⁵⁰⁹¹⁾ Sarah was employed at Oliver Ditson Co. as a bookeeper in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁰⁹²⁾ He was employed there for many years.

+ 806 ii. Howard Dana Fillebrown was born November 16, 1863.

807 iii. Parker Locke Fillebrown⁽⁵⁰⁹³⁾ was born November 26, 1866.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁴⁾ Parker died March 29, 1868 at 1 year of age.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁵⁾

808 iv. Herbert Holmes Fillebrown⁽⁵⁰⁹⁶⁾ was born August 11, 1869.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁷⁾ Herbert died April 5, 1887 at 17 years of age.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁸⁾

809 v. May Foster Fillebrown⁽⁵⁰⁹⁹⁾ was born February 11, 1876.⁽⁵¹⁰⁰⁾
