Hannah married Samuel Purrington June 11, 1840 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁸⁷²⁾ (Additional notes for Samuel Purrington⁽⁴⁸⁷³⁾) Samuel died March 22, 1853 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 33 years of age.⁽⁴⁸⁷⁴⁾ Samuel resided in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts before 1840.⁽⁴⁸⁷⁵⁾ Samuel had marriage banns to Hannah Fillebrown published May 21, 1840 in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁸⁷⁶⁾ Samuel was probably a free white male, age 20 and under 30, in Leonard Fillebrown's household, on the 1840 Census in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁸⁷⁷⁾ The census indicated that 9 people lived in the household. If Leonard and Hannah as well as their 5 children and their son-in-law Samuel are included it accounts for 8 people. Two of the males are in the wrong age group but that kind of error is not unusual. The 9th person has not been identified.

784 v. Frank Purington⁽⁴⁹⁰¹⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts March 25, 1853.⁽⁴⁹⁰²⁾ Frank died April 4, 1865 at 12 years of age.⁽⁴⁹⁰³⁾
