Samuel married Ketherine Williams January 25, 1753 in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.(1066) Ketherine was born March 18, 1719/20.(1067) Ketherine(1068) was the daughter of Benjaman Williams and Elizabeth Dean. Ketherine died December 4, 1802 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at 82 years of age.(1069) The souurce for thi death states she died " in her 85th y. [a. 83 y. P.R. 1].

When Ketherine was age 33 and Samuel Fillebrown was age 31 they became the parents of Rachel Fillebrown November 6, 1753 in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.(1070) When Ketherine was age 35 and Samuel Fillebrown was age 33 they became the parents of Samuel Fillebrown June 11, 1755 in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.(1071) Her name was listed as Ketherine in the Genealogy of the Fillebrown Family.

The 1910 Geneology states " 'The Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War'gives the army service of Samuel pf Mansfield, amounting to 5 mos. 16 ds., not counting a doubtful second enlistment Sept. 25, 1775, as follows: Filebrown, Fillebrown, Phillebrown, Philibrown, Samuel, Mansfield. Private Capt. Abiel Clap's Company; Col. John Daggett's regiment, which marched to the alarm ..."

Samuel reported for active duty May 1, 1775.(1077) This service continued until September 25, 1775. The 1910 Geneology states " ... also Capt. Moses Knap's company, Col. Joseph Reed's regiment; muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775, ...; service 3 months 8 days, also order for bounty coat, or its equivalent in money, dated Roxbury, Dec. 22, 1775."

Samuel reported for active duty April 1777 in Rhode Island.(1078) The 1910 Geneology states he was in " Corporal Capt. Israel Trow's Company, Col. John Hathaway's regiment; service 21 days ... at Rhode Island. Company raised in Bristol county; ..."

Samuel reported for active duty Sept. 25, 1777 in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.(1079) THis service continued until October 31, 1777. The 1910 Geneology states he was also in "Capt. Issac Hodges' Company. Col. George Williams' regiment ... on a secret expedition. Roll sworn to at Norton."

Samuel Fillebrown purchased land from James Fillebrown September 1794.(1080) The 1910 Genealogy states "Samuel Fillebrown of Mansfield attaches the estate of Mr. James Fillebrown (both yeoman) for 27 pounds, 1 shilling and 3 pence, ... Vol. 79, p. 551."

Company made up from the third and seventh companies in said regiment, and marched on the alarm at Rhode Island of December 8, 1776."
