242. Submit⁷ Cutter (Nathaniel⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Mary⁴ Fillebrown, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽²⁹⁶¹⁾ was born in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts January 14, 1759.⁽²⁹⁶²⁾ Submit died July 17, 1824 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 65 years of age.⁽²⁹⁶³⁾

Submit married Ezekiel Bartlett circa August 1779 in Northborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁶⁴⁾ Ezekiel was born February 18, 1749/50 in Westborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁶⁵⁾ Ezekiel⁽²⁹⁶⁶⁾ was the son of Jotham Bartlett and Miriam How. Ezekiel died after August 1824 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁶⁷⁾ Ezekiel reported for active duty April 19, 1775 in Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁶⁸⁾ He was a Private in Captain Samuel Wood's Company and marched to the alarm serving 22 days. "On the nineteenth of April, at about noon, news of the Battle of Lexington arrived in town (Northborough). Curiously enough, the minute-men were gathering at the time for the porpose of listening to a patriotic address by their minister, Parson Whitney.....Instantly their minds were made up. They repaired to their homes, bade good-bye to their families, and assembled at the home of their Captain, Samuel Wood. Here, their good parson commemded them to the protection of God, in an earnest prayer; after which, to the sound of Joseph Sever's drum and Ebenezer Hudson's fife they started on their way to Boston. All this happened 'within three or four hours' of the arrival of the news from Lexington."

Ezekiel reported for active duty August 21, 1777 in Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁶⁹⁾ He was a Private in Lieutenant Seth Rice's Company of Col. Job Cushing's Regiment serving until August 25th. They were called to reinforce the Northern Army. He was discharged at Hadley.

Ezekiel had marriage banns to Submit Cutter published August 11, 1779 in Northborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁷⁰⁾ When Ezekiel was age 44 and Submit Cutter was age 35 they became the parents of Jotham Bartlett August 27, 1794 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁷¹⁾

Submit had marriage banns to Ezekiel Bartlett published August 11, 1779 in Northborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁷²⁾ When Submit was age 35 and Ezekiel Bartlett was age 44 they became the parents of Jotham Bartlett August 27, 1794 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽²⁹⁷³⁾
